NTRB is a 501c3 non-profit and volunteer led organization with a mission to advance youth baseball skills and competition in the Norwalk community.  NTRB plays in the Twin Rivers League and is a competitive traveling league for grades K through 6. Travel is required to Truro, St. Mary’s, Martensdale, Churchville, Milo, Lacona and Winterset.  NTRB also fields tournament teams that play in Des Moines metro events.

Individual players who sign up are drafted by the coaches of each team; no one can pick the team they play on with the exception of the coaches children. Players can only play up if there are open roster spots, no matter the perceived ability of that player. We want to make every effort to give everyone with a desire to play a chance to play.

Norwalk Twin Rivers Baseball conducts a series of winter practices in January, February, and March.  Practices will have throwing, hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running stations and instruction.  Winter practices fees are included in league fees.  Each division will have one practice each week during the winter.   Practices are typically 90 minutes in the Oviatt gym or at Soteria (church just north of Norwalk) throughout the week with start times varying between 5:30 and 8 pm.   All participants must complete the registration form, complete a waiver, and submit proper payment before participating in the winter practices.

As soon as the weather is favorable practices will move to the fields at the Norwalk-McAninch Sports Complex.  Outdoor practices will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for all levels.
